Spirits are often flavoured with fruits, spices, sugar and cream. Flavoured spirits are often called cordials or Liqueurs

The typical method of flavouring spirits is to steep in fruits or spices. Sugar is usually added in the form of sugar syrup.

Another way of flavouring spirits is to add essences.
