Suburban

The Surburban is a cocktail.

Recipe:

• 1 1/2 oz. rye whisky
• 1/2 oz. dark Jamaican rum
• 1/2 oz. port
• dash of orange bitters
• dash of Angostura bitters

1. Stir all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with cracked ice.
2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

The Suburban is a drink sometimes associated with horse-racing and draws its name from the Suburban Handicap that was run in Brooklyn during the 1880s.
